Building Cowboys for the Future is a new project that the Calcasieu Parish School Board and McNeese State University Athletics are working on together. This initiative is a continuing collaborative effort to introduce different aspects of McNeese to CPSB students. To start off the program, all CPSB primary students and all students who attained honor roll or banner roll in grades 6 through 12 received cards for free entry to all 22–23 McNeese athletic events.
